Founder and Consultant

Will McCartney, CRSP

Will founded COR Value Safety to help Alberta employers build health and safety systems that make sense in real operations, not only in policies, manuals, or audit evidence.

Practical Safety Experience

Will is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with field and leadership experience supporting higher-risk and operationally complex work. His consulting approach focuses on the connection between management expectations, supervisor decisions, worker practices, documentation, and the controls used in day-to-day operations.

Through COR Value Safety, Will works directly with employers rather than separating the initial consultation from the person assessing the problem and developing the recommended approach.

Areas of Focus

  • COR and SECOR readiness and audit preparation
  • Health and safety management system development
  • Safety program design and implementation
  • Contractor qualification, oversight, and performance systems
  • Incident investigation and corrective action quality
  • Fleet, field, and mobile-work safety processes
  • Digital safety workflows, records, and management visibility
